A friend captured the above shot last Saturday morning and sent it to me. I was amazed by the bright qi I saw in the photo and here goes my qi spent in my "Lost in Orchard Road" poem dedicated to the Now Orchard Road.
A stroll along Orchard Road is a breeze these days,
No need to squeeze like the early days.
No need to squeeze like the early days.
Spick and span the streets remain,
Many thanks to those first campaigns.
Litterbugs think twice before they act,
While smokers line within a box back to back.
Where have the shoppers gone , you wonder?
For now a young lad squats on a step down yonder.
The retail meccas yearn for the lost vendee,
While the walkways there are void of matinees.
The trees still line up to give shade,
While the sun invades.
Get lost in Orchard Road now,
And be one with the Tao...
