I was wondering what to write here today when I stumbled upon this article on a news platform: Wild Cows Starving.
Holy wild COW...what is the world coming to? The cows on Grass Island are reported to be deprived of the grass because the hikers are stomping so much on the grass there. Hey, are you kidding? The Year of the Ox (cow also) is just 2 days away and there is this story about cows from Hong Kong.
The cows are native to the grass island and the hikers are the visitors to the cow territory. In the spirit of wanting to hike and be with nature, they deprive the cows of their natural habitat. There does not seem to be any good qi that can be gained when the hikers invade into Grass Island.
What will the cows be thinking..."Do these humans have any cow sense?" It is an obivous no.
Anyways, this leads me to talk about the Year of the Ox (cow) which is the next Chinese Zodiac Animal that will take over the Rat. A lot of people make the mistake of just looking at their birth year when they wonder what the new lunar year holds for them. The birth year is just one of the eight characters of their Bazi, 八字 (aka birth chart or birth characters).
Thus when you just look at the birth year and read the zodiac forecast, it is inaccurate especially if your keen to see if your fortunes.
The Chinese seem more interested in fortune read for themselves when a new Zodiac swings in for the new year. The subject of fortune and money is so intertwined with the Chinese such that even stand up comedian Ronnie Chieng made fun of it. I think he is so right and funny.
I think the Chinese have been too poor for a long time and fortune (money) is very important to us. Those people on Grass Island still need money to buy grass for those wild cows to feed them well in the new year.
MOOOOOOOO...
