Dynamite (5 min read)
The
song, Dynamite, which is currently trending because of a K-pop sensation contains
the lyrics that go:
Dy-na-na-na, na-na, na-na, ayy
A timely song which appropriately describe what I am going to share here: the next 4 animals which are termed the Cardinals which can be dynamite in your life.
I am familiar with
cardinal sins and cardinal bishops. Now, I will discuss the Cardinal animals
that pertain to Bazi. Why the term, “cardinal” then?
Animals from the Poles
This is because the four
animals, Rat, Rabbit, Horse and Rooster occupy the four cardinal directions of
the luo-pan (compass) locations if you are familiar with fengshui.
The rat is in the north.
The horse is in the south. The rabbit is in the east. The rooster occupies the
west. These four animals each contain pure qi. North is water and thus the Rat
is a “water animal”. South is fire and thus the horse is seen as a “fire
animal”. As for the rabbit, it has “wood energy” in it whilst the rooster is a
“metal animal.”
If you have any of these
four animals in your Bazi chart, you will have experience dynamite in your
relationships or mainly people to people links. This is because these four
“Cardinals” are the Peach Blossom animals.
Peach blossom refers to 桃花 (pronounced as “tao hua”)
which refers to being liked by people and being attractive. Peach blossom is
often nice to have but having an excessive dosage of it can be challenging.
I believe that having at
least one cardinal animal in your Bazi chart is dynamite for you. If you have
two of them, it is DD which means double dynamite. If you have three and more, it gets
complicated and sometimes challenging.
Lethal Attraction
The concept of peach blossom can be viewed positively or negatively. In the ancient days, peach blossom was deemed good for a male but negative for a female. This was because women in feudal China were domestic creatures. They were not to be seen outside the home, household or on the streets. The women who had to socialise were mostly women in the flesh trade or working in brothels.
These days the tides
have changed. All of us need a little peach blossom once in a while or just in
a year. Some people have peach blossom qi in their natal charts. Some could
experience the peach blossom qi in a certain lunar year when the animal friend
enters the year to bestow upon them the qi. In modern times, men and women
alike can welcome some peach blossom qi in their lives.
Every day, we are
“marketing” or “selling” ourselves. Be it going for an interview, closing a
deal, meeting friends, pitching your wares on YouTube or social media platforms,
having some peach blossom energy can work wonders.
Furthermore, there is no
harm having peach blossom qi. Frankly, not everyone has that million-dollar
look. Moreover, even if one has that million dollar look but without that peach
blossom energy, the influence factor remain low. You may wonder why. The reason
is that the person’s qi is low.
Have you ever wondered
why a seemingly unattractive person (no million dollar face) is likeable or has
strong powers to influence? The answer is simple because you read my blog and
thus you know the answer. That unattractive person has peach blossom stars in
his natal chart.
Sometimes the peach
blossom stars will visit you in a particular year, month or day if you do not
have any peach blossom qi in your natal chart.
That’s Hollywood!
Let us look at some
snippets of natal charts of celebrities. I will only look at the earthly
branches which contain the animals. This chart below belongs to Brad Pitt. Look
at the animals in all the pillars.
He has 2 cardinals in
his 3 pillars. In his year pillar, his social circle find him attractive and
like him. I think that is good for him. In his month pillar, there is a rat and
that serves him well for his career. His movies seemed to have done well and he
was quite a heart-throb of many young ladies until Jennifer Aniston came along.
In his hour pillar, he has another cardinal. It would mean that his juniors like
his children or his juniors like him. By looking at his cardinals, I read him
as a pleasant looking person.
His
peach blossom stars proved too much for him to handle because Angelina Jolie
came along and we know what happened.

So, the above example
proves my point about having challenges in relationship when one has more than
one peach blossom star.
Another example would be
a female celebrity who is no longer around. The celebrity has 2 cardinals in
her chart seen below. One is in her year pillar and one is in her day pillar.

The chart belonged to the famous and attractive
female celebrity, Zsa Zsa Gabor whose fame stretched from Vienna to Hollywood. Being such a gorgeous woman, she also attracted
many men and married nine times.
