Qi in the Men (3 min read)
Before I start my blog today, I would like to mention my heartfelt thanks to the first reader of my blog, Anne Marie and another recent reader, AspireBehavioural, who said that my blog was useful.

I learnt recently that celebrating small success and showing gratitude are what we really need to do. Many people talk about "being positive" and love posting those messages on social media. Moreover many people also talk about "being motivated" but they themselves stand still.
I used to belong to one of the many people in the above paragraph but realised that it only feeds one's ego. Nothing will change and has changed. It is just a complete waste of resources (including precious time reading those meaningless posts on social media, mine and others' time)
I feel that taking baby steps after we have made a decision to do something (new or out of the box) is what is necessary. Furthermore because of the things we have embarked upon gain traction, we should celebrate in our small ways for the new baby steps we have taken forward.
What is the decision to do something new? It can be many different things for the many people out there.
On an emotional level, it can be blocking out negative self talk or walking away from gossip or not being affected by the opinions of others. Based on my experience, next of kin offer the worst advice. There are many toxic vampires out there and many are too afraid to walk away. Worse still, they feel that it is not kind to reject the so called "opinions".
These days, I have been able to filter all that "loose and cheap opinions" which I term them. At a vibrational level if you continue to put yourself there, you will see yourself not becoming positive (despite all your social media quotes and postings). In fact, your situation will worsen because you will begin to absorb all that poor qi and go on a downward spiral.
What happens when you are on a downward spiral? Well many things can happen.
Luck or good qi will leave you. You will attract your own kind of "downward spiraling" people in to your life or circles...and the rest is up to your negative mind. Depression will eventually take over you and you can see it in your eyes. (you can refer to my earlier blogs about reading the eyes.)
As men (male and female), we have the qi in us which we can control and manage. Now you know why there is a term, "Qimen". I did not invent this term but am just using it to talk about for today.
Celebrating small success for the small and new things that we have started doing or are doing means being positive. Being positive involves a verb in action. While in action, you take another baby step to move. That is another action. Eventually these small actions add up to the Big Success that you would have achieved after all the hard work and effort. And you will feel happy. Celebrating your small success allows your brain to be rewarded by dopamine. You can celebrate your small success in many ways. You name it, you do it. In my case any small food or drink suffices.
10X multiply by ZERO effort = ZERO (this does not include your meaningless positive quote postings)
