Using qimen for love (2 min read)
Today, I will write about qimen which is my favourite of all the Chinese metaphysical tools. To me, qimen is magical as I have discovered it. I am still thrilled by the simple and the profound looking glass it offers. The basic qimen learner can use it as well as the advanced learner.
I guess the advanced learner is always on the advancing track and I desire to be on it.
If you have read about Alice in Wonderland, there is a quote in the Looking Glass that goes like this: " Well, now that we have seen each other," said the unicorn, "If you'll believe in me, I'll believe in you.” Qimen and our subconscious are like the unicorn. The notion of self belief is crucial in all of us and for all of us.
It is amazing that qimen charts can display one's subconscious without the person being truly aware of it. Like Bazi, qimen can be used to decipher one's intention, attitude or thought in the love game. A relationship in the love department is just like a game. There is a lot of guessing even for relationships that have gone from the attraction stage to the partnership stage.
It is not surprising these days for people to quit relationships for many reasons. The love died. There is just lust. There is just too much blurring between these two and it is excessive for me etc...the mind becomes cluttered!
In qimen, the subconscious of a partner in a relationship can be deciphered as noble or not noble. If the "heavenly grass" (蓬) appears in the chart, it would mean that there is lust in the relationship and thus a partner who is ignoble.
To all the men, women and binary folks out there: Would you like to have a noble partner or an ignoble one? You have a choice
