The Secrets of Face Reading

Face reading is akin to a Book Cover (3 min read)

Today I had a text message from a dear friend who sent me a few photos. I was asked to read the traits of a young man using two photos of the same man.

Hmmm...I thought to myself.  Who is that person in the 2 photos and why did my friend ask me to read them.  To me it was another exercise and a grand opportunity to read a real face.

Very few people know that I can read faces. I normally get a photo and voila...I got to read the face in the photo. Be assured that I do not go around reading every face which I see.  I would definitely go mad as my RAM would be totally exhausted.

When we used to visit a bookstore or library, the first thing that attracts us is usually the book cover. Publishers would try many ways to make a new book stand out in a variety of ways. There can be colour, typeface, font size, thickness of book cover or even the sleeve of the book cover. Magazines are the same. Unfortunately in our digital age, the ability to see and touch a real book or magazine has become  rare and scarce. .

Just like a book cover or a magazine cover, there are areas of a face that you can read.

I like to look at the eyes of the person first. The size of the eyes would catch my attention.  Then I look at the eyes especially the gaze. Does it emit an aura of easiness or an aura of harshness? I am still training myself to look for the aura.  Since I am watching the eyes, I next shift my focus to the eyebrows. Are they thick or thin? Is there spacing in between?

Next look for the bone on which the eyebrows rest. Is the bone protruding? Is that area squeezing onto the eye area? Are there dark patches underneath the eyes? Or is it clear?

The nose is next. Look for the size of the nose on the face. Is it in proportion? Look at the nostrils and the bridge. Spot if there is a knot or depression on the nose. Is the nose long from the top to the area near the nostrils? Is it a narrow or broad nose?

After that look at the lips. Are they thin or fleshly? Is the top lip the same as the bottom lip. You would be surprised that all lips are very different. Sometimes you can even see that the colours of the lips are different from the colour of the face.

So what was the face of the man like in the 2 photos which my friend sent me?

His brow bone was protruding and his eyes and brows looked too closely arranged together on his face. His head size was of a size which I felt uncomfortable. His lips were very thin. His forehead was very high. He also had square jaws.

I love the story of Frankenstein but his face is just as similar as that of Frankenstein. The eyes of that young man did not have the same eyes as Frankenstein. His eyes looked mean and that energy seemed hidden.

Would those features signal a good book to have for the rest of your life?

Honestly I do not believe so. Do you believe? Leave a comment, please.
