Keep Your Nose Out

Face Reading or 面相 (Mian Xiang) - The Nose (3 min read)

These few days I have been following on the news about the Taliban taking over Afghanistan and I was shocked to read about the President there fleeing for his life. Too much negative stuff has been said Biden and I will not be bothered to read his face. He is very good at talking based on what I see on Biden's face. I am more interested to look the face of the fleeing ex President and decided to google for his images.

In such a borderless era where everything is google-able, it is not hard to look for anyone's faces especially if the person is famous or infamous.

In Chinese face-reading or Mian Xiang, the face is a map on which there are 100 spots that are used for face-reading.  Honestly, I do not think most face reading experts can remember all the 100 spots. There are a few who can.

When I read faces, I look at the 5 Officers. They are  the insurance, vigilance, information, chief justice and foreign affairs officer. These to me sound like the ministries in my country where I reside and my insurance agent.  Sometimes I get into the habit of reading faces even when I do not get consulted with. I find face reading very applicable and fun.
Face reading is usually my secret weapon when it comes to communication.

So let us look at the face of the ex-President who fled his own country - the face of Ashraf Ghani. He has a bony face and I do not like bony faces. This is because there always seem to be something sly about the person with a bony face.

His cheeks do not support his nose. He has quite a hooked nose. His eyebrows grow sideways. He has a line in the middle of his third eye and it cuts through the third eye.
So what is my take on him based on Chinese face reading?  He is not happy as he is troubled.  He has lost the support of his aides. He is a person who thinks carefully before he acts. (That explains the news about fleeing with bags of money.)  His nose really says that about him keeping the money to himself and only thinking of himself when the crunch comes. He certainly knows what "Keep your nose out" means.
