A Single Candle

A Single Candle (2 min read)

I have been rather busy the past days with preparing for Christmas and was struck muchby all the Christmas decorations in the shops and malls.  The crowds in the retail shops andmalls have made the festive season feel much like what it used to be pre-Covid days.

Thanks to those beautiful decorations and I got inspired today to look at the Yin Fire Day Master which is Ding (丁).  A quote from Gautama Buddha says, “Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle, Happiness never decreases by being shared.”

The Yin Fire day master is akin to a flaming candle that lights up a dark room or area. The lit candle is able to light other candles or allow everything else in the dark room or area be seen.

Thus, the Yin Fire person possess the natural ability to nurture others and inspire them. Warmth is another trait of the Yin Fire person and the energy within the person is highly expandable. Just observe how a flicker can become an unstoppable flame just in seconds.

I have experienced the Yin Fire person and the above described traits before. Interestingly, the Yin Fire person is more filial than the other elements. There is more attachment towards the mother than the father.

As a candle light, the Yin Fire person is more sensitive than others.  Watch how the candle light flickers with the slightest wind and you will understand it.

The Yin Fire person is more attracted to gadgetry or gadgets than others.  I have my fair share of birthday presents in the form of gadgets from a Yin Fire friend and I will soon have an online store for pre-owned gadgets.

Anyone else?
