The Mother Earth Oracle was brought out of its obscurity in 2019 when many Chinese metaphysics had to look for references as to why the Covid 19 pandemic hit the human race.  It was claimed that the Mother Earth Oracle was never really given much attention to until 2019. 

I was surprised to learn that such a book existed and could allow us to look into the future. I have always knew that the "Huangli" or Chinese calendars existed but never knew that the Mother Earth Oracle did. I googled to find out more about the Mother Earth Oracle but the explanations in English were limited.  Thus I decided to put my Chinese language skills to good use and found what I was looking. The explanation as follows describes it.   

Origins of the Mother Earth Oracle

The Mother Earth Oracle, 地母经, pronounced as "Dimu Jing" is the abbreviation of the Emperor's Earth Oracle  (黄帝地母经) pronounced as  "Huangdi Dimu Jing" According to legend, it was written by Huangdi of Xuanyuan's clan and was long used with the the yellow almanac or  "Huangli" created by Huangdi and the cultural history of China. 

The Mother Earth Oracle is a book that predicts the growth and harvest of crops and aquaculture every year. It also predicts the agricultural events that may occur in various places according to the order of the stems and branches of the Taisui. (constellation of the stars)

As China's agricultural situation and natural disasters have a certain periodicity, the Mother Earth Oracle was used to predict and forewarn the ancient farmers as to hwo toe prevent plagues and disasters. The language of the Earth Mother Oracle  is plain and not fancy. It is probably a summary of the ancient industrious Chinese people's oral transmission of the laws of nature. It is regarded as an exploration of the laws of nature by the ancient Chinese.
