The Will Slap and Clap

Slap and Clap (4 minute read)

From yesterday, the word "slap" must have been the most googled word after the sleepy and predictable Oscars was awakened by an outburst of energy when a non-hairy joke was made. As you would have read or watched, Will Smith slapped Chris Rock unscripted. Many who  initially thought it was part of golden entertainment were surprised that it was not.

What are your thoughts about what Will Smith did?

I became curious and started to look at his 2022 natal chart to see his energy for the year.

Since this is the month of Mao (Rabbit), the energy clashed with his month pillar.  In his chart, Mao is also the Peach Blossom star for Will Smith.  In 2022, WS has 2 good auxiliary stars which are the Emperor star and the Dragon star which will grant him immunity for negative actions which he undertook.

We know that he gave Chris Rock a big slap on Oscars night. Some saw it negatively whilst some saw it positively.  In my view, slapping a comedian was indeed negative for WS especially when he won the best actor  award for "King Richard".  He became infamous and certainly left his legacy at the Oscars.

In the Mao (Rabbit) month, WS saw a clash in his month pillar. He won an award and also gave his fellow peer a big slap. Then again, WS has peach blossom energy in this current Mao (Rabbit) month.

Do you think that he will get away unscathed?  I certainly think he will just because of the peach blossom energy and the 2 good stars of the Dragon Virtue and the Emperor.

Slapping another person in public is certainly not acceptable. I see that Chris Rock can learn to be more sensitive to people's feelings by not making fun of people's appearance especially when hair is concerned.  The hair is one's crowning glory and pretty much prized.

What can we learn from this non-hairy episode?

For me, it is a lesson about being more sensitive to people's feelings and not judge from the surface.  I do not engage in star worship except related to Bazi. However the advice given to WS by Denzel Washington stood out: "In your highest moments, be careful, that’s when the devil comes for you."

Clap, Clap!
