Suitable (3 min read)
This is often a word often used and heard when one asks about one's Bazi chart or reading a Qimen chart.
Examples of questions often heard using "suitable" are:
1. Is this job suitable for me?
2. Is this person suitable for me?
When "suitable" is used, one has to think deeper as to what it really means. One thing which I am certain is that the person who asks the question sees himself or herself as the constant or prefers to be in the passive context. It is just like desiring a good outcome without wanting to undergo the process. See my earlier short mention about Desire or Compulsion and you will understand better.
A job which you undertake involves your inputs. An interaction with another person involves your participation. There is a process that goes on and skills are required. The required skills can be interpersonal, thinking, technical skills and the like. There are processes taking place in a job or in a human to human exchange.
The mindset about being "suitable" has to change as this is the old style of asking questions about one's bazi or qimen chart.
What if the job is suitable? Or What if the person is suitable? Everything thing changes after a while. Change is the only constant and you have to remember that.
Try looking at things from another perspective and rephrase your questions to gain insights. Stop using "suitable" and closed-ended questions. It is beneficial for you to use open-ended questions for your bazi or qimen reading since your intention is to gather insights. The close-ended questions will only close doors.
