2024 Fiery Dragon Year

Fiery Dragon 2024

The Chinese as an ethnic group are a superstitious bunch and being Chinese, I can vouch for it.  As I post this blog today, I am also counting down the days to the first new day of the lunar new year which falls on 10 February.

However based on Li Chun which is using the solar calendar, the Year of the Dragon enters on 4 February 2024 which is what most Chinese metaphysics coaches like me use to welcome the new energy of the Dragon.

The common folk would think that the Dragon is the most prosperous and the luckiest of all the 12 Chinese Zodiac animals but it is not true.  The Dragon years were not the best if we turn back and look at history.  There were much destruction and disruption in those years. For a start, the coming Dragon would be a Wood Dragon.

Let us trace back and see some movers and shakers  during the earlier Dragon years:
1928 - St Francis Dam disaster (California) and the Chinese famine started in 1928 in China
1940 - WW2, the second global war of the 20th century broke out
1952 - The Chinese civil war (battle of Nanri island), Korean War (Battle of Triangle Hill)
1964 - Flooding in Vietnam, Earthquake in Alaska
1976 - A list of earthquakes which included  Tangshan(China), the Phillipines, Indonesia and Turkey
1988 - A few earthquakes which took place in Burma, Nepal, China and Armenia
2000 - Autumn Europe floods, Earthquakes in Turkmenistan, Yountville, Nicaragua,  Banggai Islands (Indonesia)

2012 - India monsoon floods, Nigeria floods, Haikui Typhoon floods, Philippines Typhoon floods

The list above saw quakes as the number 1 disaster to inflict pain and the next was flooding.  In Janurary 2024, a big quake struck western Honshu and already cause destruction and the loss of lives.

We can only look back to gain optics as to what could happen and be prepared.

I wish you well and prepared.
Namaste
